Moonbowls - Community Engagement

Moonbowls is a Korean-inspired restaurant serving health-forward comfort food. As Community Manager, I am responsible for building and maintaining a welcoming, energetic brand presence across social channels.

02 — Challenge

Moonbowls had an active posting schedule, but their accounts functioned more like a broadcast channel than a conversation. The brand needed someone to humanize their voice, manage customer interactions at scale, and turn social touchpoints into loyalty.

03 — Strategy

I developed a consistent engagement framework that centered on:

  • Establishing a warm, playful, and responsive brand tone.

  • Reducing response time for DMs and comments to under 24 hours.

  • Proactively engaging with fans, food influencers, and user-generated content.

  • Escalating customer feedback to the internal team to strengthen service and retention.

03 — Execution

  • Managed daily comments, reviews, and DMs across Instagram and TikTok.

  • Created and scheduled community-driven posts such as polls, Q&As, and story interactions.

  • Monitored sentiment and identified opportunities to turn customer complaints into positive interactions.

  • Integrated customer feedback into content planning and messaging.

03 — Results

  • Fostered deeper relationships with customers, improving brand perception in a crowded delivery market.

  • Boosted engagement rates on interactive content (polls, replies, and shares).

  • Helped turn satisfied customers into repeat buyers and vocal advocates.

  • Sourced high-quality UGC and coordinated influencer collaborations to expand brand reach and authenticity.
